Reading and writing e-mails with the webmailer
The bluetronix software provides also e-mail functionality: You can create your own email addresses with your domain name. The software provides an email client for reading and writing messages and supports POP3, SMTP and IMAP.
The support of mail protocols enables you to use email clients as Outlook, Thunderbird or your PDA. You are even able to receive emails with your mobile phone. Use the User system to dedicate email addresses to users.
E-mail address management
The e-mail manager allows you to create and configure your email setup. Start the e-mail manager by clicking on 
E-mail -> E-mail address management.
Creating a new e-mail address
First enter a new e-mail name, for example ‘info’, then select a domain name if there are more than one domain names registered. Finally click on Create. The e-mail address will be created and the status icon next to your new e-mail will show up 
yellow. It will take about two minutes (press F5 to refresh) until the status switches to 
green. Now your new e-mail address is ready to use.
Changing the password
To change a password for an e-mail account click on Password next to the e-mail address you want to modify. Enter a new password and confirm by entering the same password again. Finish the process by clicking on Change password.
E-mail forwarding
To enable e-mail forwarding click on Redirect next to the e-mail address you want to modify. Now enter an e-mail address you want messages to be sent to, then click Save.
Note: This address needs to be part of an external domain.
Email forwarding can be stopped by clicking on 
Cancel forwarding in the email address manager.
E-mail details for POP3, STMP, IMAP
To configure details for POP3, SMTP and IMAP click on Details displayed next to the e-mail address you want to configure. You need these details to set up your e-mail clients like Outlook or Thunderbird or e-mail capable devices like a PDA or mobile phone.
Note: Each e-mail account has its own details. So if you create several e-mail addresses, make sure you check the details of each of these accounts in order to set them up in your e-mail clients.
IMAP is the best choice to be used for receiving e-mails by PDA or your mobile phone. This protocol clears out messages on the e-mail server after sending the message to you, in contrast to the POP3 protocol. IMAP is best used when several users share one account.
Be aware that the messages in your e-mail account will be saved and there is no automatic clearance. This means you have to delete messages from time to time to ensure there is enough space on the server to receive new e-mails.
Reading and writing e-mails with the webmailer
Use webmailer to have instant access to your e-mails. This enables you to read and write e-mails without the need to install additional software on your local hard drive. Go to E-mail -> Read and write e-mails to start webmailer.
You can switch between your different e-mail accounts by selecting the e-mail address you want to check. The panel on the left shows the e-mail folders and the right displays current e-mail messages in this folder.

Reading e-mails
Double click onto an email message to read it. Reply to a message by clicking on Answer e-mail.
Writing e-mails
In webmailer, click on New e-mail symbol and enter a receiver’s e-mail address and a subject. The lower part of the window shows the editor which you can use to write the message. For further information about the editor see Homepage editor. This tool is used as well to create a master e-mail template or a header and footer. Finish the process by clicking on Send email.
