Reseller subscription

Open the website www.bluetronix.com.au with your browser and click on Subscription / Webspace .

To subscribe your customer to a reseller subscription, go to Premium / Shop category or to Business category. The stated price here is not relevant for you as a reseller. Enter the domain name and if you change the ISP, add the domain of the previous website. You have to confirm I am the legal owner of this domain dialogue. Now enter the customer details of your customer, not your own. These details are required for domain registration and for ISP change. The email input field can be left blank if you do not want to confirm the registration automatically. As payment method select ‘Payment in advance’, this is unrelated to your payment method to bluetronix. Now enter your reseller code into the input field Notes. Please take care to type in the code correctly. This code identifies you as a reseller and relates you to the newly created domain and its owner. Finally confirm that you agree to the terms and conditions and click on Order. Save and print access details. The subscription will be registered and available after ca. 6-48 hours depending on the top-level domain. In the case of an ISP change, a second temporary domain is available so you can use it until the new domain is registered successfully and ready to use. The ISP change document needs to be sent to your customer who must complete their details and subscribe it. You or your customer can fax it to your previous ISP and give a copy to bluetronix (fax number will be stated at the document).If you experience delays in this process please ask your previous ISP first whether they received the document or why they refused affirmation. Bluetronix will not be able to do anything without the affirmation of the ISP.

Homepage transfer and ISP change

It could happen that customers who already have an existing website, several domains and e-mail addresses want to move. In this case, following these steps will avoid unfinished sites shown or email messages being lost.

Subscribe to bluetronix as described in the chapter Reseller . As domain name enter the domain which will be the main domain. If you want to transfer more than one domain to your subscription, first go into editing mode of the temporary domain www.yourdomain.bxserver.com.au. and click Contract -> Domain management as described at the respective chapter Domain manager, the ISP of other domains can be transferred. Remember to print out all ISP transfer documents.
If the website is still under construction or gets imported right now, wait to fax the ISP transfer document until you finished step 5. Now you can start creating or importing existing websites. For further details about importing whole websites see Import an existing homepage. While the homepage is under construction the customer is able to see the proceeding by going to the temporary domain. www.yourdomain.bxserver.com.au. Existing e-mails are transferred after finishing of editing/importing websites to the domain. This can be done in different ways: Forward the admin access to the customer. This enables the customer to configure all their e-mail addresses by themselves. But in doing so, the customer can change the admin password so the reseller will not have access anymore. Consider this method if you want to transfer full control to the customer. Create a new user account with admin rights. Give the user details to the customer and they will be able to set up their e-mail addresses. At the same time you are still able to edit the website. Now fax the ISP transfer document to the ISP who will confirm this. As soon as the domain status in the domain manger changes to green, , the domain can be activated as main domain.
